The providers and staff at Family Practice Group stand with the Black Comunity.
We stand in solidarity and support because Black Lives Matter. We reject racism, hatred, and inequality and believe they have no place in our world. Racism in America is and always has been a public health crisis. We are horrified and saddened by the events that have occurred in the last several weeks and recognize that this is part of a much longer pattern of systemic racism. Family Practice Group invites you not to be complicit, but to actively strive toward racial equality and promote anti-racism, especially those of us who can use our privilege and influence to make systemic change. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to support you during these challenging times. #BlackLivesMatter #WhiteCoats4BlackLives
Until further notice Family Practie Group will not be open for our regular Walk-In Clinic. If you would like to be evaluated by a provider for any reason please call our office prior to coming in.
In order to honor our mission of high quality medical education and offer improved access to care, we work closely with resident physicians. Residents are new physicians who have graduated from medical school, who have committed to internal medicine training and have a three year commitment to providing primary care at Family Practice Group. They will work closely with the physicians at Family Practice group to give the highest level of care to existing and new patients..
Family Practice group proudly joins all 331 of our physician colleagues in endorsing Mask On & Carry On, Highland Healthcare Associates IPA’s masking campaign. Our ultimate goal is to stop the spread of COVID19 by teaming with you, our patients, in an effort to emphasize the importance of masking.
Key Items to Remember:
Wearing a mask helps protect you from COVID 19.
Wearing a mask helps protect those you love from COVID19.
Practice responsible & safe masking behaviors by:
Making sure your mask: Covers your nose and mouth, while still allowing for breathing without restriction.
Is secured with ties or ear loops, fitting snugly but comfortably against the sides of your face.
Includes multiple layers of fabric.
Can be laundered & machine dried without damage or change to shape (applies only to reusable masks)
Did you know the way a mask works is by stopping the germs from entering your airways? Those germs gather on the outside of your mask. By touching your mask and forgetting to wash your hands, you can carry those germs around with you. Always remember:
Handle your mask by the ear loops only – Avoid touching the front of your mask.
Wash or sanitize your hands immediately after handling your mask.
Change your mask after each use or as soon as it becomes wet/soiled – whichever occurs first
5-Minute Clinic Walk-In
FPG's 5-minute clinic is open Monday through Friday from 5:00-6:00pm. The 5-minute clinic is intended for patients with a single brief medical concern such as a cold, urinary tract infection, rash, earache, sprained ankle, etc. -not for chronic or in-depth medical concerns which are more appropriate for a longer, traditional office visit. This clinic is only for established FPG patients. Patients for this clinic are seen on a "first come, first served" basis.
Family Practice Group (FPG) is accepting new patients. In an effort to serve our patients, we can almost always see a patient on the same day for a sick visit. FPG is also open Weekdays until 6:00pm and on Saturday mornings.
