Dr. Shravya Khambhati is originally from Hyderabad, India and moved to Greenville, South Carolina at an early age.

She received her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in South Carolina and completed her residency in family medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois. She then pursued a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Khambhati wishes to help her patients achieve their health-related goals while developing strong, personal relationships and being an important part of their lives. In addition to her expertise as a clinician, Dr. Khambhati is committed to teaching, practicing evidence-based medicine, and working on innovative ideas to improve access to care for her patients – including making house calls!

While Dr. Khambhati takes pride in caring for patients of all ages, she is passionate about caring for older adults. In an age where medicine has become so specialized, she recognizes the importance of addressing medical conditions in the context of what matters most to her patients. She pays careful attention to her patients’ daily routines, activities, and interests, so they may thrive and live their life to the fullest.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Khambhati enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling, staying physically active, and developing new hobbies, including skiing, tennis, cooking, and caring for plants. She really loves catching up on the latest Netflix mini-series. Recently, she has been busy planning her wedding to Dr. Khambhati, a cardiology fellow in training here in Boston, this November!
