Karen Hinchen, PA-C

Karen grew up in the Berkshires with a deep love for nature that led to a degree in Environmental Science and work with Hurricane Island Outward Bound School in Maine. There she came to appreciate the healing power of nature and a love of adventure and exploration. A knee injury resulted in an opportunity to pursue a medical career at Duke University. Time spent with family doctors in the mountains of North Carolina instilled the importance of developing long-term relationships with families and their community.

Joining the Family Practice Group in 1995, she has enjoyed being part of the tremendous growth of the practice and the privilege of caring for patients in times of need as well as in celebrating their good health.

Karen stays active with her husband: biking, hiking, canoeing and body surfing are favorite activities. She is also an avid vegetable and perennial gardener.
